Important Seminar Policies

IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED:
Attendees must present in person a valid Photo Identification of themselves (ONLY a Current Drivers License, or Passport will be accepted) plus a current Massage/Healthcare License.

SAFETY GUIDELINES:
Seminars are presented in the English language, therefore, for safety reasons, it is the corporate policy of the National Academy of Medical Massage LLC dba Premier Continuing Education that if you do not understand or speak the English language or basic human anatomy & physiology, you will not be permitted to participate in the Hands-On Massage Therapy portion of a seminar.

ASSUMPTION OF RISKS & RELEASE:
If you have any medical condition(s) that prohibits you from performing or receiving any Hands-On Massage Therapy please notify the instructor at the Seminar. NOTE: Seminars are educational ONLY and ARE NOT intended to treat any medical conditions.

Upon registering for a Seminar provided by the National Academy of Medical Massage LLC dba Premier Continuing Education, a Florida Corporation, the participant hereby acknowledges and accepts that there are certain inherent risks associated with the Course Activity and the participant assumes and accepts all risks in connection with the Course Activity, including without limitation any harm or potential harm to the participant or damage or potential damage to the participants property, whether caused by the participant or other participants of the Course, the Course instructor, or invitees or guests.

How do I receive and complete an Online Home Study Course?

Accessing an Online Home Study Course is as easy as 1, 2, 3

To access your online home study course, simply click on the “HOME STUDY” tab on the top of this page and then select the State you are licensed in. Next, hover over the text of the online home study course or courses you would like to take.

How do I print my Certificate once I complete an Online course?
To print your “Certificate of Achievement” for an Online Test or Course you have successfully completed and passed, follow these instructions:

  1. Log in using your username and password
  2. Place your cursor over YOUR ACCOUNT and you will see PRINT YOUR CERTIFICATE appear. Click on it.

Next, under REGISTERED COURSES you should see a GREEN BOX with a WHITE check-mark.

Next, select the course you have completed and you will then see “PRINT YOUR CERTIFICATE” in a blue box.

If you do not see a GREEN BOX with a WHITE check-mark, you have either not completed all sections of the course and/or have not passed a section. You will need to check and retake that section.

Who can attend a "hands-on" webinar?

Currently – Continuing Education hours are only available for Massage Therapists
For safety reasons, we do not permit non-licensed healthcare providers to attend our seminars

How do I register for a "hands-on" webinar?

We provide easy online registration. Simply click on the “Live Webinars” tab above then select the course your would like by clicking on the green box that reads “REGISTER”. If you prefer, you can speak with one of our representatives by contacting our office Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm Eastern Standard time at 1-732-319-6266.

Are your instructors and courses approved?

The courses offered by the National Academy of Medical Massage LLC, dba “Premier Continuing Education” are approved to provide continuing education credit by the following organizations:

  • NCBTMB Approved Provider #20 – Click for a list of NCBTMB Approved courses
  • Florida CE Broker #50 – 14961
  • New York Sponsored NCBTMB Approved Provider
  • Texas Approved Provider #CE1709
  • LIVE “hands-on” webinars are NCBTMB Approved for CE
  • Online Home Study Courses are Approved by most State Boards of Massage Therapy
  • Online pre-recorded webinars are NCBTMB Approved for CE.

It is recommended that you read your individual Board and State Continuing Education rules and regulations.

NOTE: If you are a Massage Therapist, almost every state accepts NCBTMB Approved courses.

When will I receive my certificate?

Upon completion of our LIVE “hands-on” webinars, a Certificate of Completion is emailed to the attendee. Upon successful completion of our online home study test or programs, our web site will automatically generate your Certificate of Achievement. If you are licensed in Florida or Georgia, we will submit your “hands-on” CEs to CE Broker.

What if I need special accomodations?
Accommodations are made according to the Americans with Disabilities Act. If you require ADA accommodations, please contact Premier Continuing Education two weeks prior to our seminar and we will make proper arrangements. For more information go to http://www.dol.gov/dol/topic/disability/ada.htm.
What tools do I need to have for a "hands-on" webinar?

We recommend that attendees have:

  • A massage table (if you are attending a webinar with a collegue, 1 table is recommended for 2 people)
  • Linens
  • Massage lotions or oils
  • Snacks and drinks
  • Non-alcoholic beverages

Check your webinar confirmation emails for additional instructions to follow or for items to bring.

NOTE: For safety reasons, anyone thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave the seminar.

What should I wear at a "hands-on" webinar?
We recommend that attendees wear loose comfortable clothing such as yoga or fitness attire.
What is your cancellation policy?

In the event you contact our office to cancel your attendance TWO weeks prior to the scheduled “hands-on” webinar in which you enrolled, you will be able to transfer into another webinar or will receive credit for a future webinar or receive a full refund if requested. However, if you do not give two weeks notice of your cancellation, you will forfeit your payment and will not receive a refund. If Premier Continuing Education should have to cancel a webinar due to circumstances beyond our control, or in the event of lack of enrollment, you will be able to transfer into another webinar or will receive credit for a future webinar or receive a full refund if requested.

Is audio and visual recording allowed?
No, our presentations are copyrighted. Therefore, any and all audio, visual or still photography is strictly prohibited.
Can I reproduce the materials?
No, Medical Massage Images and Videos copyrighted by: The Science of Massage Institute; Dr. Ross Turchaninov MD. Permission granted to use given to Dr. Jeff Cullers and the National Academy of Medical Massage LLC, d/b/a Premier Continuing Education.

What instructional formats are used for a "hands-on" webinar?

Our webinars are presented using ZOOM and include one or more of the following: Power Point presentations, Lectures, Manuals, Charts, Demonstrations, Practical Exchange Review, Instructional Videos.

Will I get CERTIFIED by attending your "hands-on" webinars?
It is important to clarify, there are no National or State regulated Certifications in ANY massage modality. Certifications are given by and on behalf of the Continuing Education providers who present seminars. Attendance in, and successful completion of, the 96 hour Medical Massage seminar series, presented by Dr. Jeff Cullers on behalf of Dr. Ross Turchaninov and the Science of Massage Institute, will earn you an opportunity to receive a Certification as a Medical Massage Practitioner from the Science of Massage Institute.
What methods of payment do you accept?

You may pay with a credit, debit card, Money Order or Cashiers Check. If paying with a Money Order or Cashiers Check, your reservation will be held for one week pending receipt of your payment. Money Order or Cashiers Check payments must be received 2 weeks prior to the webinar date.

Can I transfer to another webinar?

You may transfer to another webinar 2 weeks prior to the webinar. Transfers must be submitted in writing or by calling 732-319-6266.

Do I have to physically participate in the webinar?

Participation is strongly encouraged but not mandatory. If you have a valid medical condition that would prevent you from performing and or receiving any hands-on training, you may observe. Additionally, for safety reasons, it is the corporate policy of the National Academy of Medical Massage LLC dba Premier Continuing Education that if you do not understand or speak the English language or basic human anatomy & physiology, you will not be permitted to participate in the Hands On Massage Therapy portion of a webinar.

Can I register and pay for someone else?
Yes. Upon checkout, on the “Billing Details” page, simply fill out the Buyers information and the Attendees information. NOTE: The Attendees information IS REQUIRED.
Am I required to attend the entire webinar?

It is a MANDATORY requirement that you are physically in the webinar for the entire webinar. If you arrive late at the beginning of the webinar, after meal breaks or leave before the webinar is complete, you will not receive any CEs as we can not give partial CEs.

If I do not speak or understand the English language, do you provide an interpreter?

We do not provide interpreters, however, you may bring one for yourself. Additionally, for safety reasons, it is the corporate policy of the National Academy of Medical Massage LLC dba Premier Continuing Education that if you do not understand or speak the English language or basic human anatomy & physiology, you will not be permitted to participate in the Hands On Massage Therapy portion of a webinar.

Can I take a webinar and use the credits for future renewals?

You may attend our webinars at any time and will receive Continuing Education hours. It is recommended that you check with your Board and State rules and regulations as to if Continuing Education hours can be used for future renewals.

What do I do if I lose my certificate?

Attendees are emailed a “Certificate of Completion” at the completion of LIVE “hands-on” webinars. To replace a Certificate, please contact the office for assistance. There is a $10 fee to replace Certificates.

What will I learn in your Medical Massage Seminars?

How many Continuing Education hours will I receive?

Premier offers a wide variety of LIVE “hands-on” webinars, programs and hours. It is recommended that you check with your Board and State rules and regulations to verify how many Continuing Education hours are required in your State and in what format.

If I purchased an item or product can I get a refund?
We will provide a refund minus any shipping or postage costs for items or products you may have ordered or purchased within 90 days of the purchase.
I registered for a Cupping seminar. Can I use my own Silicone Cups?
You may use your own set of SILICONE CUPS at our Cupping seminars. We permit the use of SILICONE CUPS only. We teach cupping as it relates to Massage to manipulate connective tissue, therefore, Plastic or Glass cups are not permitted. Our Massage Cupping seminars include a set of SILICONE CUPS. In the event you own your own set, you will be refunded the amount charged for the cups.
