In this interactive and challenging seminar, Chiropractic Physician, SOMI Certified Medical Massage Practitioner/Trainer and Licensed Massage Therapist Dr. Jeff Cullers, will introduce you to the science of and the clinical application of 3 days of exciting training in Medical Massage. We will take you step by step from the theory of Medical Massage Concept to the detailed hands-on application.

Day 1. Medical Massage Concept - From the theory of Medical Massage to soft tissue evaluation (skin, fascia, skeletal muscles, periosteum) and detailed presentation of Medical Massage treatment options and their clinical integration

DAY 2. Medical Massage Protocols for Medical Massage Protocols for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (morning) & Tennis/Golfer’s Elbow (afternoon) - This Hands-on training will focus on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in the morning and Tennis (Golfer’s) Elbow throughout the afternoon. You will follow a step by step application of evaluation and treatment using corresponding Medical Massage Protocol.

DAY 3. Medical Massage Protocol for Soft Tissue Trauma/Leg Compartment Syndromes (morning) & Plantar Fasciitis (afternoon) - This Hands-on training covers principles of rehabilitation of the traumatized and overloaded soft tissues on the lower extremities. We will start with soft tissue contusion, how to read traumatic impact which created the hematoma in the soft tissues; how to evaluate its consequences; what clinical tools to use to speed up the soft tissue recovery. The next segment is Compartment Syndromes, their evaluation and treatment principles to unload pressure build up in each leg compartment. We will finish class with Plantar Fasciitis, its pathophysiology, evaluation and application of Medical Massage Protocol.
